How do you Define Quality?
Quality has different meaning for everyone. Small organizations can define quality one way, completely different from another.
What is important for any organization is to try to define it in tangible terms / characteristics / attributes.
In terms of Software Quality, there are some key attributes that are commonly used to describe the level of high-quality software.
Some common attributes include:
- Reliability
- Maintainability
- Robustness
- Security
- Usability
- Performance
- Portability
- etc, -ilities
Each of these terms will be expanded in seperate pages on this site.
Quality must be built into the products of software development from the beginning through the definition of an effective development environment and the controlled application of monitoring procedures.
My Personal Definition of Quality -
