Why Software Quality Engineering?
Software Quality is considered a discipline. Having the term Engineering denotes a disciplined, methodical approach to acheiving software quality. We have come to better understand the attributes of software quality, and can now methodically build those attributes into software.
The term “quality” is difficult to define, as it can mean something different to each individual or organization. Something one might consider “high quality” might not have the same standards as someone else. What is important for any SQE organization is to clearly define what this term means, and what characteritics are required to meet the defined level of quality.
