ABOUT ME
Here are my top 5 interests in life!
1) Learning / Reading Books
I am a learner. It is one of my key strengths. I have fully rediscovered the joy of learning, and have a strong passion for learning something new each day. I love reading books on topics that interest me, and have started a page dedicated to the books I have read, in topics I truly enjoy.
2) Software Quality Engineering
This is my life and my career, Software Quality Engineering. Day in and day out I eat, breathe, sleep, taste, struggle, hate and love everything about Software Quality and testing.
I am in the process of gathering all my lessons learned and experiences, and developing a forum for folks with the same interest to share ideas about this discipline. I plan to create a dedicated website to SQE, which will hopefully be one of the following: www.SQEforum.com / www.SQEUniversity.com / www.SQE101.com. For now, I have an SQE page on this site.
3) Management
I enjoy management, as I have been a student of this profession for the past 3 years in my current role. I enjoy making people succeed, and discovering ways to extract performance from people’s strengths. I find joy with working w/ a team as well as individuals, understanding what motivates and drives people towards success.
4) Travel
I love travelling, no matter where it is… just as long as it’s a new place I haven’t seen. I have a section of places I have curently been, which I hope to increase that list over time.
5) Photography
I love taking pictures, and enjoying learning all about photography. Capturing special moments in life and rare smiles, being able relive that second in time in a simple photo, and being able to share it with family and friends is what I find rewarding and satisfying. Viewing the world through a lens has been teaching me to look for beauty in the finer details of life.
